Dursley Rifle and Pistol Club began its life in the years following the Second World War in the small town of Dursley in Gloucestershire. Not surprisingly, none of our present members can remember that period of the club’s past, although a few are doing their best.

Since then the club has evolved from a leisure-time activity for professionals, largely engineers and draughtsmen from the Lister’s engineering works, to the large, modern and inclusive club we have today.
